At Cactus we believe that water, quite literally, should not cost the earth. Our watercoolers not only offer you great value for money, but by using mains water they are also significantly better for the environment:

• No impact from the extraction of the water
• No unrecyclable bottles, caps or labels
• No deliveries contributing CO2 emissions to the atmosphere and

Indeed, the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management which has a history of working in environmental management dating back to 1895 recently reviewed the issues around the use of bottled water. In their view ‘branding and bottling of water where there already exists a wholesome and safe supply of mains drinking water cannot be seen as a sustainable use of natural resources, and adds to the overall levels of waste and pollution to be managed in modern society’.

But it is not only about the products we sell, but how we act as a Company. It is our objective to carry out all activities in a manner which continually improves our environmental performance, we:

• Regularly assess the environmental effects of the activities of our
  company through third party assessments. Work towards a carbon
  neutral status for our company not only through offsetting but by our actions
• Minimise the production of waste
• Minimise materials wastage
• Minimise energy consumption
• Promote the use of recyclable and renewable materials
